Sorrels Law Names Two New Partners

Andrea Roth and Jessica Rodriguez-Wahlquist

Sorrels Law is delighted to announce Andrea Roth and Jessica Rodriguez-Wahlquist have been named partner at Sorrels Law. “Andrea and Jessica have established themselves as leaders in not only our legal profession, but also in our community. The recognition of each of these leaders in our firm is recognition of their successes both inside and outside the courtroom,” said Randy Sorrels, a partner at Sorrels Law.

Andrea Roth has just concluded her term as President of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and is thrilled to be named partner at Sorrels Law. Her passion and courtroom conviction have made her a standout in the Houston legal community. Having overcome childhood cancer, Andrea brings a unique understanding to the health challenges her clients face that bring about a constant disruption in their lives.

After graduating from Baylor University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Public Relations, Andrea then pursued her legal education at South Texas College of Law Houston. She has been a plaintiffs’ lawyer her entire career and has first-chaired over a dozen trials – making her one of the youngest plaintiffs lawyers in the state to achieve that statistic. In fact, she has been elected to the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and is an active participant in the women’s caucus of the Texas Chapter. Andrea specializes in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, products liability, and premises liability cases. Her recent eight-figure, seven-figure and multiple six-figure settlements reflect the community’s recognition that her unique mix of technical skill and advanced advocacy deserve top dollar evaluations and payments.
