Brooks Tobin

Partner

Brooks Tobin represents people who have suffered catastrophic injuries and families who have lost loved ones. He has taken on some of the largest companies in America on behalf of individuals and families, securing numerous seven-figure recoveries for his clients.

A native of San Antonio, Brooks earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University. After law school, he served as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Rolando Olvera in the Southern District of Texas.

Brooks began his career at a Houston commercial litigation boutique, handling complex disputes for major corporations, and then practiced civil defense. That work taught him how corporations and insurers build and defend their cases—knowledge he now turns against them on behalf of people harmed by corporate and individual misconduct.

Brooks has been recognized by his peers for creative problem-solving, legal writing, and advocacy, and has been named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America list since 2024. Outside of practice, he spends as much time as possible with his wife and their two young sons.
