Ron Lovett

Ron Lovett is a distinguished personal injury attorney and native Houstonian, bringing decades of legal experience to Sorrels Law as a partner. Before pursuing his legal career, Ron worked in the Oil & Gas industry, providing him with a unique perspective on complex industrial cases. He earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in 1995 after completing his Bachelor of Science at the University of Houston in 1991.

Ron is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction held by a select group of attorneys. He is a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, recognizing his success in achieving significant verdicts and settlements for his clients. Ron has also earned the prestigious AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest level of professional excellence.

Throughout his career, Ron has represented clients across Texas in a wide range of cases, including auto and trucking accidents, industrial accidents, medical malpractice, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, product liability, commercial litigation, and cerebral palsy/birth injury cases. His commitment to justice and client advocacy has established him as a leader in personal injury litigation.
 
Ron is admitted to practice in Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He is an active member of the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Prior to joining Sorrels Law, Ron was the owner and attorney at Lovett Law Firm and previously a partner at Lovett, Tew & Dykes, L.L.P.
