Recall on FRIGG Silicone Pacifiers Due to Potential Choking Hazard

Mushie & Co. announced a recall on over 330,000 FRIGG Silicone Pacifiers. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, “the base of the of the silicone nipple has a fine slit that can cause the nipple to detach from the plastic shield, posing a choking hazard.” The company has received about 200 reports of the nipple detaching from the shield in both the United States and outside of the country. Thankfully, no babies have been injured.

The recalled pacifiers come in two designs – Classic (with a round, plastic shield) and Daisy (with a round scalloped, plastic shield). The pacifiers come in two different sizes: 0-6 months and 6-18 months. The pacifiers were sold from April to December of 2021. If you have one of the recalled pacifiers, stop using it immediately. You can receive a full refund or store credit by cutting the silicone nipple from the base and submitting a photograph of both at mushie.com/pages/recall.
